Join us for the Sistrunk 5K Race on February 22, 2025, at 7 AM!

​Starting in Delevoe Park in Fort Lauderdale, FL, participants will enjoy a run through the Historic Sistrunk Boulevard, which is conveniently located near downtown Fort Lauderdale. This event is not just about running or walking; a portion of the proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society and the All Star Classic efforts to keep children active and at play. It's a fantastic opportunity to support great causes while staying active and engaged with the community.

Medals will be given to all participants and an award ceremony will begin after the race. Snacks and beverages including Mimosas will be served after the race.

Event details and schedule

Registration opens at 5:00 AM, with the race starting promptly at 7:00 AM.

The race kicks off at Delevoe Park and takes participants along the historic Sistrunk Boulevard, turning onto 10th Street before heading back to the park. Along the route, you'll pass by notable landmarks that highlight the rich history of the area, offering a unique running experience.

Ample parking is available, and we recommend bringing your photo ID and a pair of running shoes. Be sure to wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing suitable for running or walking outdoors. Refreshments will be available before and after the race to keep you energized.

We are excited to announce that this year’s Grand Marshal is Fort Lauderdale Commissioner Pam Pittman-Beasley!

And don’t forget—free mimosas will be served after the race, so come celebrate with us!
